	The NHFA is an organisation of financial advisors. Therefore they want to sell policies. On the other hand they have been on programmes on Radio and TV giving advice. The website has a lot of useful examples of how fees are assessed and the pitfalls. They give free general advice to all, subsidised by the fees from paid-for financial advice.


	All you ever wanted to know about Enduring Power of Attorney and the new Lasting Power of Attorney. You can even look at the form and print it out. Useful helpline 0845 330 2963. If you already have one, the new legislation will not affect you. Unless the person involved decides to take out one of the new ones; and still has the understanding needed to do it.


	Read all about it; the Mental Capacity Act 2005 which introduced the new lasting power of attorney, which can be taken out for welfare as well as financial decisions.
